Do All Courses Require Coding?
No.
The amount of coding depends on the learning path you choose.
Coding-Focused
Test Automation Engineering Series is fully coding-focused. API Testing includes technical work with requests, responses, and scripts.
Reasoning-Focused
Other courses require careful reasoning, investigation, and evidence review — even when little or no coding is involved.
Apps, Resources & AI Usage
A few important details about how apps, external tools, and AI-supported experiences work within Labs Annual.
Why can the same app appear in Play Lab and Apply Lab?
The purpose differs. In Play Lab, apps are paired with guided activities and course-linked practice. In Apply Lab, a tool appears only when its role in an authorized testing workflow has been approved.
Will every app open inside the Shade of Hue website?
Not always. Some apps open on another Shade of Hue site or an external provider site and may require a separate sign-in or account setup. Check the access information shown with each app before starting.
Does Labs Annual include every external tool linked on the site?
No. External tools, APIs, repositories, and references remain subject to their providers' access and license terms. A link does not mean a paid plan, external license, or API credit is included.
Does Labs Annual include unlimited AI usage?
No. Some AI-supported Play Lab and Apply Lab experiences use daily quotas. When a Play Lab limit is reached, access resumes after the next daily reset. Higher Apply Lab capacity may require the next usage tier.
Accounts & Team Access
Individual Accounts
After completing payment, create an account or connect an existing account to the purchase, then open the Labs once access is confirmed. Always return using the same connected account.
If access is missing after payment:
Confirm you are signed in with the account connected to the purchase. If access is still unavailable, use the approved account-support path before making another purchase.
Team Subscriptions
Team access uses named, non-transferable seats. Current team packs support 5, 10, or 20 named users.
- Seats are assigned to named users — not floating or concurrent
- Team members cannot share a seat
- For more than 20 seats, corporate requirements, or coaching, use the Contact us path on the For Teams page
